Investigation of &lt;i&gt;in vitro&lt;/i&gt; antileishmanial activity of the isolated compound, in 10 and 50 and 100 &amp;mu;g/mL concentrations, exhibited significant leishmanicidal effects against the promastigotes of &lt;i&gt;Leishmania major&lt;/i&gt;. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
