fa ارتباط طول دوره شیردهی و شاخص توده بدنی مادر پزشكي اجتماعي Community Medicine پژوهشي Research <p dir="RTL"><strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong> شیر مادر تنها غذایی است که انحصاراً جهت تغذیه نوزاد آفریده‌شده و ترکیبات آن بر اساس نیازهای فیزیولوژیک نوزاد تنظیم گردیده و بهترین رشد و نمو را برای کودک ایجاد می‌نماید. یکی از عوامل مهم در طول مدت شیردهی، وزن مادر با توجه به شاخص توده بدنی <span dir="LTR">BMI</span> قبل از بارداری است. مطالعات کمی در این زمینه به‌ویژه در ایران صورت گرفته که نتایج متفاوت و متضادی را به دست آورده‌اند. هدف این مطالعه بررسی ارتباط طول دوره شیردهی با شاخص توده بدنی مادر، قبل از حاملگی است.</p> <p dir="RTL"><strong>مواد و روش‌ها:</strong> پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه کوهورت گذشته‌نگر است. نمونه‌های موردمطالعه شامل 243 نفر مادر دارای کودک 4-2 سال بوده که در مراکز بهداشتی درمانی شهری شیراز دارای پرونده بوده و جهت پایش رشد کودک خود، به این مراکز مراجعه کرده‌اند.</p> <p dir="RTL">&nbsp;روش نمونه‌گیری به‌صورت طبقه‌ای و داده‌ها از طریق پرسشنامه جمع‌آوری گردیده است.</p> <p dir="RTL">تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها با آزمون‌های مجذورکای، <span dir="LTR">Anova</span> و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون صورت گرفته است.</p> <p dir="RTL"><strong>نتایج:</strong> رابطه معنی‌داری از نظر آماری بین شاخص توده بدنی <span dir="LTR">BMI</span> و طول دوران شیردهی به دست آمد. ولی بین متغیرهای میزان تحصیلات مادر و پدر، شغل مادر، سن مادر، نوع زایمان و جنس کودک با طول دوره شیردهی رابطه معنی‌داری مشاهده نگردید.</p> <p dir="RTL"><strong>نتیجه‌گیری: </strong>با توجه به ارتباط معنی‌دار آماری بین <span dir="LTR">BMI</span> و طول دوران شیردهی، آموزش به مادران جهت حفظ وزن طبیعی، به سلامت آنان و کودک آن‌ها کمک خواهد کرد. مطالعات بیشتر از نظر افزایش حجم نمونه و انجام پژوهش در مناطق مختلف کشوری در این زمینه موردنیاز است.</p> <p><strong><em>Background & Objective:</em></strong> Breast feeding is the only food created exclusively for human, and its ingredients are according to the needs of the infant&#39;s body and it provides the most appropriate growth conditions. Mother&rsquo;s BMI is one of the most important factors in duration of lactation. Few studies have yielded conflicting results in this field. The present inquiry set to determine the relation between maternal BMI before pregnancy and duration of breast feeding.</p> <p><strong><em>Material & Methods:</em></strong> A retrospective cohort study was conducted. The samples consisted of 243 mothers who had 2-4 years old children and were visited in Shiraz urban health centers for their growth monitoring. Stratified sampling method was applied, and the data were collected through questionnaires on their medical records.</p> <p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong> There was a statistical significant relationship between BMI and breast feeding duration. There was not any statistical significant relationship between duration of breast feeding and mother and her husband&rsquo;s education, mother&#39;s occupation, mother&#39;s age, type of delivery, and child gender.</p> <p><strong><em>Conclusion:</em></strong> &nbsp;Considering the relationship between short duration of breast feeding and maternal obesity, health education should be made for balancing mother&#39;s weight and contribute to the health of mothers and their children.
